Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Lynn Slusher-Sholler
Former Celina resident Lynn Roxine Slusher-Sholler, 65, of St. Marys, died at 6:38 a.m. June 20, 2012, at her home.
She was born March 8, 1947, in Logan to Henry and Phyllis Branscomb Frank. She married Frederick Michael Slusher, who died in 2004. On March 7, 2009, she married Mark Steven Sholler, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Tony (Sharon) Slusher, Celina, Kelly (Lisa) Slusher, Celina, and Josh (Julia) Slusher, Celina; a daughter, Jodi (Jerry) Chilcoat, St. Marys; two sisters, Sandy (Ron) Suchland, St. Marys, and Karen Sparks, St. Marys; a brother, Jim (Brenda) Frank, Coldwater; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Wilma Collingsworth.
She was a homemaker.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Judy Ball officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
