* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Bernice Vander Horst
Bernice M. "Ben" Vander Horst, 84, Celina, died at 6:15 p.m. July 7, 2012, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 6, 1927, in Sharpsburg to George and Clara Metzner Schmitz. On June 9, 1951, she married Donald Vander Horst, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Donald Jr (Jan) Vander Horst, Celina, Kurt (Nancy) Vander Horst, Celina, and Jay (Annette) Vander Horst, Milford; three daughters, Debby (Doug) Myers, Dublin, Karol Halm, Dublin, and Judy (Mark) Sichterman, South Lebanon; a brother, Albert Schmitz, Vandalia; a sister, Jeanette Giere, Tawa, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Roseann Garman and Ruth Stoddard, and a son-in-law, Steve Halm.
She was a homemaker and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina. She was a 1945 graduate of the former Immaculate Conception High School.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial is at a later date at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
