During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

A dilapidated, barn-like garage with a gaping hole in its roof at 121 N. Lake St. is the first property in Celina to be ordered repaired or demolished by Celina Safety Service Director Tom Hitchcock.
