William Brussell
William P. Brussell, 85, Minster, died at 5 p.m. July 23, 2012, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster.
He was born Aug. 31, 1926, in Lebanon, Ky., to Leonard and Nancy Head Brussell. On July 25, 1953, he married Dorothy M. Hemmelgarn, who survives.
Other survivors are children, Barbara (John) Seger, Fort Loramie, Patricia (John) Mangen, Celina, and Tom (Patti) Brussell, Sidney; siblings, Herbert (Irene) Brussell, New Bremen, Alma (Lloyd) Wolfe, Sidney, and Naomi Bright, of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are siblings, Joseph Brussell, James Brussell, Margaret Leugers, and an infant sister, Nancy Lee Brussell.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, and the Knights of St. John, Maria Stein. He had retired in 1988 from Minster Machine Co. after 38 years.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
