Mary Albers
Mary "Jane" Albers, 65, Fort Loramie, died Aug. 8, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 15, 1946, in Piqua to Cyril and Rosella "Sally" Seger Monnier. On Sept. 7, 1968, she married Norman Albers, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Brian Albers, Fort Loramie, and Lisa (Brady) Sobota, Dublin; two brothers, Anthony Monnier, Sidney, and Timothy (Denise) Monnier, Kansas City, Mo.; four sisters, Carol (Thomas) Detwiler, Minster, Lester (Jean) Albers, Osgood, Carol (Jerry) Rentz, Chickasaw, and Carl (Mary) Albers, Minster; and four grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Dale Monnier.
She was a homemaker and worked part time at Fort Loramie American Legion, Wagner's IGA/Village Market, Jenny's Hallmark, Elder-Beerman and Brucken's Bar & Grill.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, and the Fort Loramie GYM Committee and Athletic Boosters.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be given to Wilson Hospice Care or the charity of the donor's choice.
