* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Linda Petty
Linda A. Petty, 69, Wapakoneta, and formerly of Carthage, Mo., died Aug. 20, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
She was born March 23, 1943, in Dayton, to Richard and Helen Althouse Longenecker. Her mother survives in Sidney. On Feb. 20, 1962, she married Tony D. Petty, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters, Tammy A. Hecht, Lima, and Kathy J. (Wayne) Ditson, Celina; a son, Dwayne R. (Tami) Petty, Carl Junction, Mo.; a brother; three sisters; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was a 1960 graduate of Franklin Monroe High School, Darke County, and worked for JC Penney for more than a decade. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Carthage, and Delphos Baptist Church.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta, the Rev. Kent Hogan officiating. Burial is at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
