Marcella E. "Sally" Pleiman, 85, McCartyville, died at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 30, 2012, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.

She was born March 20, 1927, in Minster, to Henry and Dorothy Winner Wuebker. On April 14, 1948, she married Jerome A. Pleiman, who died April 10, 2002.

Surviving are nine children, Gerald (Linda) Pleiman, Anna, Michael (Nancy) Pleiman, McCartyville, David (Linda) Pleiman, Colorado Springs, Colo., Karen (Matt) Bonnoront, New Knoxville, Sandy (Jim) Willhoite, Dayton, Mary (Mark) Thaman, Anna, John (Kathy) Pleiman, Ft. Loramie, Sue (Joe) Theiman, New Bremen, and Kathy (Allan) Fogt, McCartyville; four siblings, Joseph (Dorothy) Wuebker, Minster, Stan (Rita) Wuebker, Minster, Martha Fullenkamp, Centerville, Leonard (Vi) Wuebker, Minster; 32 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Also deceased are a daughter, Judith Clement; a brother, Rich (Vera) Wuebker; and a sister, Donna (Tom) Quinlin.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, and its Altar Rosary Sodality, Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Fort Loramie, Minster Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 1391, Farm Bureau Council, and the church choir. Shw had been a 4H advisor.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Revs. John Tonkin and Ken Pleiman officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in McCartyville.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster is handling arrangements.
