At 751 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Geneva to near Hartford City, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible. Locations impacted include... Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Montezuma, and Carthagena. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. Motorists should slow down and use extra caution. When thunder roars, go indoors! Do not stay in the open or seek shelter under trees when lightning threatens. Local agency used stimulus funds to hike employees' pay

CELINA - Some employees of Sources Community Network Services continued to receive additional pay even though the raises authorized by the former director should have expired at the end of 2011.
The raises, paid with federal stimulus dollars, ranged from 11 to 29 percent. [More]
DELPHOS - St. Henry jumped in front early and rolled to a 71-57 win over Delphos St. John's on Friday night to give the Redskins sole possession of first place in the Midwest Athletic Conference standings after the road win at Arnzen Gymnasium.
