* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Harold Schwieterman
Harold G. Schwieterman, 86, Portland, Ind., passed away April 8, 2013, at Willowbend Living Center in Muncie, Ind.
He was born April 20, 1926, in Mercer County to Constant and Rosa Will Schwieterman. He was married to Ruth Braun on July 12, 1947, and she survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Daniel L. (Shelly) Schwieterman of Pleasant City, Steven P. Schwieterman of Portland, Kenneth E. (Erin) Schwieterman of Ridgeville and Harold D. Schwieterman of Indianapolis, Ind.; three daughters, Connie (Ron) Lingo of Portland, Rosann (Chris) Miller of Ridge- ville and Lori Gibson of Portland; one brother, Edgar Schwieterman of Delphos; one sister, Evelyn Geise of Coldwater; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children, Ronnie and Bonnie.
He was a farmer and retired from New Idea in Coldwater. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Portland, the Moose Lodge and Fort Recovery Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, Rev. Robert Moran presiding. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Fort Recovery.
Visitation is 2-7 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials may be given to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or the choice of the donor.
