Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. This may result in rapid changes in road conditions over short distances. Motorists should exercise extra caution.

Minster Rocket Club member Sam Bornhorst stands by the 10-foot rocket that soared 4,791 feet - the highest of 20 other rockets made by high schoolers - during a Sunday morning NASA launch in Huntsville, Ala. Bornhorst named the rocket I Need My Space.
