Fay Noble
Fay E. Noble, 91, St. Marys, died May 17, 2013, at Wapakoneta Manor.
She was born May 1, 1922, in St. Marys, to Clarence "Pick" and Mazie (Sutton) Williamson. On Sept. 14, 1982, she married Dr. Alvin B. Noble, who died Feb. 15, 2001.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Craig Rasneor; a son, Roger Rasneor; and a former husband, Guy Rasneor.
She was a 1940 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.
For many years she worked as a waitress at Koch's Restaurant, St. Marys, and Northmoor Golf Club in Celina. She was an extremely devoted caregiver to her mother and son. Her personality matched her fiery red hair and made her an interesting person to know and love. Her sometimes crusty exterior belied her true benevolent spirit, having provided financial assistance to countless people in times of need. She also had a tender spot for animals. Her favorite pastimes included playing cards (especially poker) and gambling.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Grand Lake Hospice.
