More details revealed in Grube murders case

Trevin Sanders Roark, a 19-year-old Indiana man implicated in the November 2011 deaths of Fort Recovery area residents Robert and Colleen Grube, will be tried as an adult.
Mercer County Juvenile Court Judge Mary Pat Zitter bound the case over to adult court following a show cause hearing Friday morning and set bond at $5 million. [More]

FORT RECOVERY - Three young men from Fort Recovery shared their thoughts on the Grube case's new developments Friday evening near the village's Shell Gas Station.
CELINA - A response team has been assembled to prepare and carry out an emergency plan in the event of an escaped, dangerous, wild animal in Mercer County.
Gas prices continue to skyrocket - up nearly 30 cents per gallon this week.
Statewide, the average cost was $3.93 per gallon Thursday, and area gas stations ranged from $3.96 to $3.99.
Locals perform well on opening day of meet
COLUMBUS - Field events dominated the action for local athletes on Friday at the state track meet.
The finals were completed in all field events involving local athletes with the exception of the Division II long jump and pole vault.
COLUMBUS - Three local 3,200-meter relay teams competed in Friday's finals of the event and all of them finished in the top five to reach the awards podium.
COLUMBUS - Semifinal heats were run in the shorter running races to determine the nine finalists to compete in each of those finals today. Several local athletes were able to survive these heats and will have a chance to contend for a state championship in their events.
ROSSBURG - The final tune up for tonight's 19th annual Dirt Late Model Dream featured Matt Miller and Dennis Erb Jr. winning $5,000 on Friday night at Eldora Speedway.
