Florence Moore
Former Celina resident Florence E. Moore, 99, died June 18, 2013, in Okeechobee, Fla. She had been a resident of Okeechobee for approximately the last 20 years.
She was born March 27, 1914, in Celina, to Elyjah and Rachel Coil Winans. She was preceded in death by husbands Clarence L. Brown and John Moore.
Surviving is a son, Clarence Robert Brown, Okeechobee, Fla.; a sister, Barbara Hassloch, Celina; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Billy Dean, who died in childhood; a daughter, Betty; and twelve sisters and brothers.
A homemaker, Florence also worked in Celina for nine years at Mersman Tables and 25 years at Reynolds & Reynolds. She enjoyed sewing as a hobby and was a member of the Erastus United Methodist Church while living in the Celina area.
Services are 3 p.m. Tuesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Allan Brown officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Erastus Church in memory of Florence.
