Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Ruth Binz
Ruth M. Binz, 62, wife of Michael Binz, passed away June 30, 2013.
She was born in Celina to Harold and Verna Sage Andrews.
Survivors include a daughter, Athena (Jonathan) Bradley; four grandchildren, Sebastian Bradley, Gabriel Bradley, Lourdes Bradley and Evangeline Bradley; two sisters, Doris (Don) Wolford and Janet (Don) Patterson; and three brothers, Wayne (Gayle) Andrews, Ralph Andrews and Paul (Sue) Andrews; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Andrews.
She was a member of Southland Christian Church and loved gardening and traveling with her husband, her children and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed garage sales.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Missionary Church in Celina.
Burial will follow in Buck Cemetery.
Calling is 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Arrangements are by Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Lexington, Ky.
