Michael Glen Schneitman, 63, Celina, passed away July 4, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Dayton.

He was born Dec. 22, 1949, in Jacksonville, Fla. On March 12, 1994, he married Karen Bobenmoyer, who lives in Celina.

Also surviving are his daughter, Christy Hammer of Jacksonville, Fla.; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Eric (Lisa) Wheat of Celina, Erin (Brenda) Wheat of Brookville; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Schneitman; and his stepbrother, Steve Austin.

He graduated from Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Fla. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2011 from Cooper Farms and was a member of the Coldwater VFW.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
