Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Roger Williams
Roger O. Williams, 66, Trotwood, formerly of Fort Recovery, died Aug. 17, 2013, at his residence.
He was born April 4, 1947, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to John and June Kinney Williams, who are deceased. On Sept. 1, 1967, he married Twila Armstrong in Fort Recovery, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John (Pauline) Williams of York, Pa., and Ben (Melissa) Williams of Moberly, Mo.; two daughters, Martha Stalhood of Tipp City and Rebecca (Joel) Homan of New Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; and in-laws, Jan and Mike Hickerson of Fort Recovery and Kurt and Sandi Armstrong of Henryville, Ind.
He served as a Christian minister in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. He graduated from Brookville High School, Brookville, Ind., and received a bachelor's degree from Cincinnati Bible Seminary and a master's degree from Louisville Bible College. He read the entire Bible every year. Being an avid reader, he read an average of 10,000 pages per year. He enjoyed American history and the Hardy Boys. He loved his family and spending time with them. He studied hard and preached well.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Church of Christ in Fort Recovery, the Rev. Rod Beheler officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in Fort Recovery.
Calling is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the First Church of Christ in Fort Recovery.
