School board members approved the measure at their regular meeting Wednesday night. The action comes after the district learned recently about a state funding change that would give the school $551,856 if it offered full busing and $352,883 if it maintained state minimum transportation. [More]

The old adage "Throw the records out" is usually associated with rivalry games as two bitter rivals get set for a battle.
Such is the case on Friday night when New Bremen hosts neighboring Minster for the Battle of Route 66 in a Midwest Athletic Conference matchup at Cardinal Stadium.
Last Curtain Call
The matchup held all of the ingredients of a heavyweight championship brawl when, 20 years ago this season, the St. Henry Redskins hosted the Delphos St. John's Blue Jays at the Wally Post Athletic Complex.
