Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

Great day for fishing

Adults and children cast rods Wednesday during the annual fishing derby for mentally- and physically-disabled children of Mercer and Auglaize counties. The event is sponsored by the nonprofit Lake Improvement Association and Grand Lake St. Marys State Park. The event took place at a pond near the East Bank shelter house at Grand Lake St Marys State Park.
