Catherine Overholser
Catherine S. Overholser, 91, formerly of Coldwater and Dayton, died Sept. 17, 2013, at Trinity Community Health Care in Beavercreek.
She was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Dayton, to Henry and Catherine Boeckman DeWinter. On June 12, 1948, she married Howard L. Overholser in Dayton, and he survives in Beavercreek.
Also surviving are two daughters, Carolyn (Alan) Weaver, Beavercreek, and Joan (David) Groth, Urbana, Mo.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry and Robert, and a sister, Margaret Rose.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and the Coldwater Legion Auxiliary. She had worked as a secretary at NCR, Dayton, where she met her husband.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
