* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Alvin Schulze
Alvin B. Schulze, 91, St. Marys, died at 6 a.m. Sept. 19, 2013, at the St. Marys Living Center.
He was born March 19, 1922, in Yorkshire to John and Agatha Streacker Schulze. On Nov. 26. 1949, he married Dolores Otting, who died Dec. 18, 1997.
Surviving are two brothers, Bernard J. "Benny" Schulze and Leonard C. Schulze, both of St. Marys; a daughter, Agnes V. (James) Schmerge, St. Marys; two brothers, Erwin (Eileen) Schulze, St. Rose, and Victor (Judith) Schulze, McCartyville; three grandchildren, Richard Schulze, Amy Grillot and Holly Combs; and seven great-grandchildren, Victoria, Olivia, Norah, Cooper and Zebulon Grillot, Brianne Ballenger and Katelyn Combs.
Deceased are a son, William Schulze; a daughter, Kathryn Spurlock; a sister, Margaret Dircksen; five brothers, Elmer, Linus, Leander, Wilbert, Walter and John Schulze; and a great-grandson, Lennon Grillot.
He retired from Scott Miller Construction of St. Marys and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys. He enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, watching the Cincinnati Reds and, most of all, spending time with his family.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service set for 6 p.m., and 10-11 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Memorial donations may be made to Auglaize Industries of New Bremen.
