St. Marys River at Rockford. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford. * WHEN...Until Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:40 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Rose Marie Wehmeyer
Rose Marie Wehmeyer, 89, New Bremen, died at 11:15 a.m. Sept. 28, 2013, at the Otterbein Retirement Community in St. Marys.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, the Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Burial will follow at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and one hour prior to the services at the church.
