At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Gertrude McMullen
Gertrude R. McMullen, 91, St. Marys, died at 7:40 a.m. Nov. 15, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 22, 1922, in Auglaize County to Olan "Earl" and Opal Koehn Raymond. On Nov. 13, 1941, she married Frank W. McMullen, who died Oct. 8, 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Charles (Jeanne) McMullen, Beavercreek, and Gary (Ginger) McMullen, St. Marys; a granddaughter, Deanna (Joe) Grimes, Dayton; two great-grandsons, Alex and Dominic Grimes; a stepgreat-granddaughter, Mandy Wilson; and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Raymond, St. Marys, and Carol Raymond, Florida.
Deceased are five sisters, Barbara Gottschalk, Patricia Raymond, Dottie Huber, Iona Mullen and Bessie Davis; two brothers, Vernon Raymond and Olan "John" Raymond; and three infant siblings.
A 1940 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, she had worked at the former Buchanan's Department Store in St. Marys and the St. Marys Cotton Mill. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. She enjoyed fishing and took great joy in helping other people.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
