Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

Dallas Smith and Karley Saunders take a test Friday morning in Jacci Spencer's third grade class at Celina Elementary School. Third grade teachers across the area are working with students to help them comply with the state's Third Grade Reading Guarantee.
