At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Thomas Swiger II
Thomas L. Swiger II, 40, Minster, died March 19, 2014, in his home.
He was born March 10, 1974, in Barberton, to Thomas and Marie Beheydt Swiger, who survive in Fort Recovery. On Sept. 24, 2013, he married Susan Meyer, who survives in Minster.
Also surviving are a sister, Rene (John) Lavely, Middletown; in-laws, Thomas and Nancy Meyer and Linda and Deron Goodwin, Minster, and John Meyer, Bay Village; three nieces; and three nephews.
He was a graduate of Fort Recovery High School, where he was on the golf team and enjoyed bowling.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, the Rev. David Klopfenstein officiating. Calling is 11 a.m. to the time of services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
