Local farmers just getting started planting as rain moves into the area
Farmers who haven't started planting corn due to cool, wet conditions shouldn't be concerned yet, ag officials say.
Mercer and Auglaize county farmers are just getting started planting corn but many are waiting for warmer temperatures to trigger seed germination, a local agronomist said.
