* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Ruth Holscher
Ruth A. Holscher, 84, Osgood, died June 9, 2014, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Osgood, to Leo and Minnie Henry Bruns. On Aug. 8, 1951, she married Alfred Holscher in Osgood, and he died May 21, 1997. Surviving are two children, Alvin (LuAnn) Holscher, West Carrolton, and Rebecca (Michael) Busse, Russia; grandchildren, Mike (Kim) Busse, Fort Loramie, Allysia Busse (Renee Hinkle), New Lebanon, Kenneth Terrell, Shane Terrell, Mark Holscher and Michael Holscher, all of West Carrolton; great-grandchildren, Rosalie, Shea, Samuel, Kylie and Auron; brothers and sisters, Roberta Herrcutt, Inverness, Fla., Barbara (Ralph) Homan, Inverness, Fla., Patricia (Werner) Wendel, Fort Recovery, Doug (Louise) Bruns, Greenville, and Wanda (Marvin) Keiser, New Weston; sister-in-law, Velma Bruns, Dayton; and brother-in-law, George Muether, Celina.
She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Annette Sanders, Bill Bruns, Paul Bruns, Louie Bruns, Pauline Wale, Esther Muether and John Bruns.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, and its St. Barbara Ladies Sodality. She also was a member of the Osgood American Legion Auxiliary and Minster FOE 1391.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial will follow at St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Osgood Life Squad.
