Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Conditional OK given for pig virus vaccine
The federal government has given conditional approval of a vaccine to help fight a deadly pig virus.
The vaccine produced by Iowa-based Harrisvaccines was already available on a test basis and has been used to boost immunity in sows that had Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus.
