Roger A. Wiehe, 72, Celina, died July 24, 2014, at his residence after a long illness.

He was born Jan. 25, 1942, in New Bremen, to Victor and Marie Luebkeman Wiehe. On Sept. 11, 1970, in Celina, he married Sandra Fannon, who survives at the residence.

Also surviving are two daughters, Wendy Wiehe Hooper, Virginia, and Kimberly (Tony) Woods, St. Marys; three grandchildren, Darren Sturgill, Hunter Woods and Mackenzie Woods; five brothers: Paul (Carolyn) Wiehe, Marysville, Wayne (Judy) Wiehe, Celina, Dale (Peg) Wiehe, Celina, Gene (Glenna) Wiehe, Palmer, Alaska, Dennis (Barb) Wiehe, St. Marys; and a special friend, Sadie James.

Deceased are his parents.

He was a 1960 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He worked most of his life in retail management and he retired from B&B House of Carpet.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and telling stories to his grandkids. His favorite pastimes included bowling, fishing and hunting.

Funeral rites are 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home (West Chapel), St. Marys. Private family burial rites will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to Grand Lake Hospice.
