* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Eleanora Zumwald
Eleanora B. Zumwald, 95, Maria Stein, died at 5:09 a.m. Aug. 11, 2014, at the Gardens of St. Henry.
She was born on May 4, 1919, in Cassella, to Michael and Mary Ronnebaum Hess. On June 21, 1947, she married Louis J. Zumwald, who died May 2, 1999.
Surviving are five children, Mary Ann Noble (friend Robert Luehrs), Dayton, Patricia (Henry) Langenkamp, St. Henry, Gerald Zumwald, Maria Stein, Joseph (Linda) Zumwald, Maria Stein, and Karen Zumwald, Troy; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth (Louis) Hamberg, Maria Stein; two sisters-in-law, Eileen Hess, St. Henry, and Esther Hess, Celina; and a brother-in-law, Elmer Speck, Coldwater.
Also deceased are a son, James; a sister, Alma Ruschau; two brothers, John Hess and Robert Hess; and in-laws, Richard Ruschau, Margaret Speck, Marie (Ben) Luttmer and Alvin Zumwald.
She was a 1937 graduate of St. Henry High School and graduated from Miami Jacobs Business College in 1938. She worked in the office at New Idea for eight and a half years and later worked at the Maria Stein Post Office for 20 years.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, and of the St. Johns Ladies Sodality. She was a charter member of the Maria Stein American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the St. John Auxiliary, where she was a past member of the drill team.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, the Rev. Tom Brenberger officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
