Farmers, gardeners cope with cool weather
This year's unseasonably cool temperatures have been a mixed bag for gardeners.
Plants such as tomatoes and peppers experienced slower growth and ripening, while cool weather-loving plants such as lettuce and turnips are doing well.
CELINA - The Mercer County Sheriff's Office this week was awarded two grants totaling more than $28,000 for overtime costs related to traffic safety.
