Day at the lake
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

Cade Mauch, left, and Tyler Caudill, sixth-graders at Celina Intermediate School, try their luck at fishing Wednesday morning along the east bank of Grand Lake. The nonprofit Lake Improvement Association and Grand Lake St. Marys State Park sponsor the annual event. Participants are provided with a free lunch and poles to use for the day. Volunteers help anglers bait their hooks and take off any fish participants catch.
