Jane Johnson
Jane Mary Obringer Johnson, 67, Williston, Fla., died Aug. 1, 2014, in West Marion Hospital, Ocala, Fla.
She was born Feb. 4, 1947, in Coldwater to Florus and Hilda Ranly Obringer. On March 23, 1968, she married Charles Trueman Johnson, who died Feb. 14, 2003.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen (Joseph) Pinkston, Williston, Fla.; three grandchildren, Annastasia Vittitoe, Samantha Gray and Michael Gray, all of Williston; three great-grandchildren; Adrien Vittitoe, Scarlett Fields and Shawn Fields; two stepgrandchildren, Rebecca and Jonathan Pinkston; a stepmother, Rosemary Weber Obringer, Coldwater; five siblings, Larry (Diana) Obringer, Coldwater, Betty (Daniel) McDonough, Kettering, Ronald (Jane) Obringer, Mendon, Richard (Rose) Obringer, Coldwater, and Kenneth (Christine) Obringer, Coldwater; many nieces and nephews; and her best friends, Nancy and Gene Figel, St. Henry.
She was a 1966 graduate of Coldwater High School and worked alongside her husband as a church camp custodian before devoting herself to his care and her family. She lived with joy and love for family, friends and animals.
She will be remembered at the 9 a.m. Sept. 28 Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial was Aug. 13 at Orange Hill Cemetery, Williston, Fla.
