* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:40 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Soldier's home takes shape

Aaron McKissack, a soldier on leave from the U.S. Army, helps a group of nurses from Mercer Health mulch the landscaping at the Lots for Soldiers house on Godfrey Avenue in Celina on Thursday morning. St. John Builders and Lots for Soldiers, both local organizations, will host an open house and dedication for the home at 2 p.m. Oct. 12.
