Park project under way

Concrete is poured Monday for a backstop post as part of the development of three new softball fields at Westview Park in Celina. The city entered into a $285,000 contract with MAC Athletics to design and build the fields. The timeline of the project is weather dependent, city safety service director Tom Hitchcock said.
