ROCKFORD - About 20 parents and students showed up at Tuesday's Parkway school board meeting to support a freshman student they say has faced retaliation after her parents protested the use of a book in her English class.

COLDWATER - Coldwater High School officials are preparing for the start of the new College Credit Plus program in the 2015-16 school year.

NASCAR driver to headline Race Night for Fans event in St. Henry
Jeff Burton has been around NASCAR for more than 30 years and loves talking about the sport.
Local race fans will get the opportunity to hear Burton speak on Friday night, November 28th when he is the keynote speaker for the annual Evening For Race Fans at Romer's Banquet Facility in St. Henry.
NEW BREMEN - New Bremen's Carson Manger will head north next season to play collegiately at Division II Lake Superior State University in Michigan.
The 6-3 Cardinals' guard was impressed with the facility, located on the Upper Peninsula in Sault Ste. Marie.
