The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Lucile Meyer
Lucile V. Meyer, 100, died at 6:39 a.m. Dec. 5, 2014, at Otterbein St. Marys Senior Lifestyle Community.
She was born Oct. 30, 1914, in Piqua, to James and Ethel Cox Finfrock. On Aug. 30, 1935, she married Joseph E. Meyer Sr., who died Sept. 22, 1985.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Dru) Meyer, New Bremen, and Brother Thomas Meyer, S.D.S, Milwaukee, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Julie Kishler, Nicholas (Tammy) Meyer, Laurie Amato, Beth (Dan) Noneman, Kristina (Jeff) Kuck, Jennifer (Michael) Lance, and Carrie (Jeremy) Weitz; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Judy Meyer, St. Marys.
Deceased are a son, Joseph "Butch" Meyer Jr., and five siblings, Mildred Elliot, Doris Baker, Helen Young, Sybil Yeager and Dr. James Finfrock.
She was a graduate of Piqua High School. She was a homemaker and assisted for many years in the operation of the family business, Hunter Printing Company, in downtown St. Marys. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, and had made countless rosaries to be given away.
She was for a number of years a volunteer at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. She enjoyed reading, playing Scrabble and solving crossword puzzles.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys. A vigil service will be held at 6 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Otterbein St. Marys Benevolent Fund.
