At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Phyllis Wilkins
Phyllis Ann Wilkins, 82, Mendon, died at 5:17 p.m. Dec. 5, 2014, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center following a battle with cancer.
She was born Nov. 16, 1932, in Union Township near Mendon, to Lester J. and Noretta L. "Nora" Hinton Wilkins.
Surviving are a brother, Robert L. "Bob" (Charlene) Wilkins, Mendon; a sister-in-law, Juanita Wilkins, Wapakoneta; two nephews, Grant Wilkins, Collinsworth, Okla., and Curt Wilkins, Wapakoneta; a niece, Andrea Hull, Celina; a great-nephew, Austin Hull, Celina; and a great-niece, Brandi Hull, Celina.
Deceased are a sister, Kathleen R. Wilkins; a brother, Glenn W. Wilkins; and a sister-in-law, Peg A. Wilkins.
She was a 1949 graduate of Mendon-Union High School and worked at Reynolds & Reynolds, Celina, in the office for 48 1/2 years until retirement. She never missed a day of work, even on snow days, for she would stay overnight in Celina to be at work the next day.
Being very athletic, she pitched softball for 18 1/2 years for the Celina Merchant teams. She loved OSU football, bowling and golf. She volunteered for the Mendon Festival of Trees and the Mendon Firecracker Festival.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, Pastor Donald Clinger officiating. Burial will follow at the Mendon Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Community Health Professionals Hospice of Celina or the Mendon Festival of Trees.
