State Fire Marshal Larry Flowers on Monday morning presents Celina Fire Chief Doug Wolters with a $50,073 check to help 10 county fire departments pay for the Multi-Agency Radio Communications Systems. The Ohio Department of Commerce grant money will help the departments pay for the MARCS service, which allows them to communicate with local and statewide emergency agencies. Pictured with Flowers and Wolters are, from left, Ohio Fire Academy Superintendent Steve Goheen, Montezuma Fire Chief Ron Schulze, Coldwater Assistant Fire Chief Tom Gross, Mendon Fire Chief Dennis Clay and Celina Fire Lt. Chad Willrath.
