* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Joan Stammen
Joan M. Stammen, 80, New Bremen, died at 3:40 p.m. Jan. 11, 2015, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster.
She was born March 20, 1934, in Coldwater, to Edward and Alvina Schenking Hamberg. On July 4, 1957, she married Maurice Stammen, who died Aug. 13, 2012.
Surviving are a brother, Thomas (Patricia) Hamberg, Coldwater; in-laws, Dolores Robbins, Celina, and Harold (Irene) Stammen, New Bremen; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Also deceased are siblings, Catherine Hamberg, Thelma Miller, Lavine Wendeln, Ralph Hamberg, Luella Meyer and Donald Hamberg.
She was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen, and was a homemaker.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Jan. 24 at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial will follow at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 9-10 a.m. Jan. 24 at the church at which time a rosary will be prayed.
Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
