Kenneth Evers
Kenneth A. Evers, 66, Bryant, Ind., died at his home on Jan. 13, 2015, of an apparent heart attack.
He was born May 11, 1948, in Celina, to Roman and Mildred Arling Evers.
Surviving are nine siblings, Patricia (Jim) Koesters, Springboro, Bill Evers, St. Henry, Sharon (Dale) Uhlenhake, St. Henry, Mike (Ann) Evers, St. Henry, Joyce (Steve) Johnsman, Coldwater, Frank (Tammy) Evers, St. Henry, Nick (Pam) Evers, New Bremen, Diann (Greg) Kopilec, Fort Myers, Fla., and Randy (Janet) Evers, St. Henry, and a sister-in-law, Rose Evers, St. Henry.
Deceased are two brothers, Ron and Sam Evers.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a 1966 graduate of St. Henry High School. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Portland, Ind. He retired from Berne Redi-Mix in December.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Carthagena, the Rev. Robert Moran officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
Memorials may be given to the Center for Neurological Development, Burkettsville.
