CELINA - Twenty-three Girl Scouts braved Saturday morning's winter weather to learn about opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math at Wright State University-Lake Campus' first Girls Go STEM! event.

COLDWATER - After each team picked up wins over Delphos St. John's earlier in the day, Coldwater and Versailles met for bragging rights among the Midwest Athletic Conference wrestling schools on Saturday at the Palace.
The Cavaliers, missing several wrestlers due to illness, took a 51-16 loss to the Tigers for the second time this season and Versailles completed the day with a 2-0 record. The Tigers knocked the Cavaliers out of the state team dual tournament at Coldwater on Jan. 28. [More]

Lima Central Catholic jumped out to a quick lead on Celina and never looked back as the Thunderbirds snapped the Bulldogs' 13-game winning streak with a 60-50 contest in a battle of state-ranked teams at Herr Gymnasium in Lima.
RUSSIA - The Marion Local Flyers had a chance to put away a state-ranked team in Celina last Monday but let the game slip away.
Given a second chance Saturday night against another state-ranked opponent, the Flyers redeemed themselves with a 73-68 win over Russia at Naveau Gymnasium.
