* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Philip Whitacre
Philip Garry Whitacre Sr., age 75 of Celina, Ohio passed away peacefully after an eleven year battle with cancer and Kidney Failure, on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at his residence in Celina.
He was born on Jan 18, 1940 in Redkey, Indiana to the late Paul & Cherry (Van Deusen) Whitacre. On Dec. 31, 1962 he married Jeanette "Jeanne" Harrod, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are his children Kathi Lewis (Jerry Kahlig) of Montezuma, Garry Jr. "Chip" (Sheryl) Whitacre of Mendon, James (Kelly) Whitacre of Coldwater, Sherri Mauch (Jason Bubp) of Wapakoneta, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a sister Nelda Hansford of Oak Harbor and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Garry was preceded in death by his parents, his infant brother Duane Whitacre and his brother-in-law Dee Hansford.
Garry graduated from Ft. Recovery High School with the class of 1958 he worked over 40 years in auto sales retiring from Kerns Chevrolet in Celina. He enjoyed Drag Racing, both building cars to go fast and having cars for his two sons to drag race in Van Wert and Muncie, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday March 21, 2015 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Lynn Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday and 1 hour before services on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice of Coldwater.
