Emergency responders on Sunday approach a burning propane tank during a training exercise at Marion Local Elementary School. More than 140 emergency personnel attended the Mercer County Fire School, which offered six different classes. Chickasaw Fire Chief Mark Seitz said the annual event drew one of the largest turnouts in 10 years. Fire and emergency medical squad personnel from Mercer, Auglaize, Shelby and Darke counties attended the school hosted this year by the Chickasaw Volunteer Fire Department.
