* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Betty Nagel
Betty J. (Sweitzer) Nagel, age 81, of E. Front Street, New Bremen, passed away of natural causes Saturday evening, May 2, 2015, at the St. Marys Living Center in St. Marys, Ohio.
She was born November 6, 1933, in Sidney, Ohio, to the late William and Grace (Shannon) Sweitzer. On September 26, 1953, at St. Augustine Church in Minster, Betty married Stanley Nagel who preceded her in death on January 19, 2011.
Surviving are three daughters and their spouses: Cheryl & Carmen Musto of St. Marys, Brenda & Ed Thobe of New Bremen, and Darla & Dave Kelch of New Bremen; five grandchildren: Rob and Brian Kantner, Jeremy Thobe, Melissa Grilliot and Molly Harrod; five step-grandchildren: Jason, Nick and Andrea Musto, Emily Kelch and Megan Stafford; twelve great-grandchildren; two siblings and their spouses, Ruth & Earl Counts of Arvada, CO and Bill & Mary Sweitzer of Piqua; brothers & sisters-in-law: Donna Nagel of St. Marys and Mary & Jim Brown of Minster.
She was also preceded in death by several brothers & sisters-in-law.
Betty retired from the Crown Equipment Corp. in 1995. She enjoyed her family and playing bingo.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie with Pastor Dan Stewart presiding. Interment will follow at German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen.
Friends may call Wednesday 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Gehret Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Grand Lake Hospice.
