Monique Thomas, a Celina Middle School eighth-grader, on Wednesday morning prepares to clean pie from her face. She took a pie to the face to help raise money for cancer research at the school's 13th annual Relay for Life. Students participated in egg tosses, volleyball, tug-of-war and other activities to celebrate raising more than $6,000 for cancer research.
