Steven Mowery
Steven P. Mowery, age 61, of Celina, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
He was born May 26, 1953 in Celina, to the late Eugene "Bogie" & Henrietta Luedeke Mowery.
Steve is survived by a Son, Kevin (Sara) Mowery of The Colony, TX, a Daughter, Stacey (Bryan) Schnabel of Lexington, KY, 4 Grandchildren: Nathan & Tatum Mowery and Elan & Grae Schnabel, a Brother & Sister, Dave (Kathy) Mowery of Sylvan, NC and Ruth (Jerry) Long of Celina, a Sister-in-law, Sally Mowery of Paulding, and many friends.
Preceding him in death were 2 Brothers, Henry "Hank" Mowery and Charles "Monk" Mowery, and his former Wife, Barbara "Bobbi" Stetler Ernst.
Steve was Manager of the Pak-a-Sak Convenience Store in Van Wert, and had also held the same position at some of their other area locations.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Northmoor Golf Club, Moose Lodge #1473 and Eagles Grand Lake Aerie #1291, all of Celina, and Rockford Eagles Shanes Aerie #1292, and a 1971 Celina High School Graduate.
A very social man, Steve enjoyed golfing, going out to eat with friends, playing cards, and participating in Poker Tournaments.
Private Services are planned to be held at a later date, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
In Memory of Steve, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
