* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From noon today to 8 PM EDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity can be especially hazardous as warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief. The heat may continue into Thursday.

Seas honored

Coldwater schools superintendent Rich Seas, at right, receives a special appreciation award from board of education member Dan Rose during the 2015 commencement ceremony Sunday in The Palace. Seas, who served 12 years at the helm of Coldwater schools, on June 30 will begin his new role as superintendent of Adams County Ohio Valley School.
