The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Nancy Holtzhauer
Nancy A. Holtzhauer, 80, Saint Marys, died suddenly on Friday, July 10, 2015, at Carriage Court Assisted Living Center in Marysville, Ohio.
She was born May 10, 1935, in Madison County, Ohio, the daughter of John E. and Marie (Starkey) Hanscel. She married James "Cruiser" Holtzhauer on October 24, 1959, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2007.
Nancy is survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Bobbie) Hanscel of Grandview Heights, Ohio; David (Cindy) Hanscel of Marysville, Ohio; by a brother-in-law, Jay (Denise) Lyle of Delaware, Ohio; by 13 nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her siblings Edward Hanscel and Julie Hanscel Lyle.
Nancy was a 1953 graduate of Canaan High School in Madison County, Ohio, and a 1957 graduate of The Ohio State University. She taught for a few years at Waynesfield Goshen High School and then taught Home Economics for many years at Saint Marys Memorial High School in Saint Marys, Ohio. She retired from the Saint Marys City Schools, but enjoyed tutoring students in her retirement. She was an excellent seamstress.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys. Burial rites will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Saint Marys.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the Auglaize County Cancer Association. Condolences may be sent to Nancy's family via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
