Eileen Yaney
Eileen L. Yaney, 86, of 1100 Myers Road, Celina, Ohio, died 12:34 P.M. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys.
She was born May 22, 1929, in Saint Peter, Ohio, the daughter of Ben and Ida (Fiely) Braun.
She married John E. Yaney on November 13, 1948, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on November 2, 1992.
   She is survived by her children: Linda Farrow of Annapolis, Maryland; Diane (John) Manz of Paulding, Ohio; Doris (Eddie) Fishbaugh of Celina; Janice (Dale) Wenning of Coldwater, Ohio; Richard  (Tina) Yaney of Saint Marys; Brenda (Mike) Mohler of Wapakoneta; Jolene (Alan) Will of Minster; Jon (Julie) Yaney of Saint Marys; Jack Yaney of Saint Marys. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Ida Braun; husband John Yaney; grandson Tommy Thien; siblings Alice Penno, Anthony Braun, Herbert Braun, Albert Braun, Mary Ellen Geier, and Rolland Braun. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law David Breese and her great-granddaughter, Taylor Dicke.
Eileen was a 1947 graduate of Coldwater High School. She was a homemaker and retired as manager of dietary services at the Valley Nursing Home in Saint Marys, and had previously worked at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home in Coldwater.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, and also VFW Post 9289 Auxiliary in Saint Marys, and Eagles' Lodge Aerie 1291 in Celina. She had volunteered at the Celina Senior Center, and she enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Above all, Eileen was devoted to her family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 Monday, August 3, 2015, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, Father Vince Hoying, celebrant. Private family burial rites will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 2-8 P.M. Sunday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, and also one hour prior to the funeral mass on Monday morning.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
