* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Richard Wiedeman
Richard H. Wiedeman age 97 of New Bremen, died on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 3:00 P.M.
He was born on July 6, 1918 in New Bremen to the late Emil and Emma (Niehing) Wiedeman.
He is survived by his wife Louise (Nieter) Wiedeman of 74 years, son and daughter-in-law Gary and Emily Wiedeman, three grandchildren, Russ, Dana, and Shelly, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald and a grandson, Neil.
Richard was a World War II Veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Wiedeman spent most of his life working as a purchasing agent for the New Idea Farm Equipment Company. Along with this, he served in church and community offices for a good part of his life.
A memorial service honoring his life will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Assembly Room Chapel of St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, with the Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the German Protestant Cemetery of New Bremen.
The family requests that Memorial Contributions be directed to the St. Paul United Church of Christ Window Restoration Project.
